art clay beads

Here's a couple of beads I have made with artclay. The lentil bead used as a focal piece was my first hollow form piece.

The eye design is on both sides.

Here's a pendant I made with silver art clay. I used molding compound to create the 2-part mold from a real pair of acorns. Then used clay and slip. I also included a garnet bead inside each bead that rattles around inside, if you shake them. Mostly to see if I could. I used cork clay as well.

The acorns are vented with a small opening in the top

Here's one of my first pendants I did with art clay. I tend to use art clay more than pmc -- It just works better for me.
